got the new L'Arc single this weekend :) :) WOOT! so, i checked out the pv and heard the song for the first time. う～ん。何か、路線変更？一応hyde作詞作曲みたいだけど、今までに無い感じの曲ですね。最初はちょっと違和感ありありだったけど、イイ曲だと思います。i guess it's just that i like their more rockish tunes so that's why it's kinda like hmmm.... right now.

oh, i also tried the macarons this weekend. soooooo delish!! still need to finish them tho. have about 5 left. :D

何とな～くそんな気がする。only because i heard my new favorite song right now TWICE on the radio before getting to work! 単純だね。でも、すっごくいい曲なの!! it's Lighters feat. Bruno Mars by Bad Meets Evil. for one, i LOVE Bruno Mars. for two, i'm really beginning to like Eminem. so there two together is wonderful!

ラルク再始動

FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this is seriously really really exciting. i'm not a hardcore fan but i seriously love them. especially hyde-sama <3 えへ。で、今年は結成20周年というアニバーサリーイアーであり、ラルク再始動の幕開けとなります。

i seriously wanted to go to L'20 Tour at 味スタ but japan is just wayyy too far... 残念。まだラルクのコンサートって行ったことないんだよねぇ。HYDEはあるけど。是非行ってみたいけど、そんなお金ないしね。so i was really excited when i heard that they were gonna live stream it in theaters. until i found out that the only place in the us that they're gonna do that was in new york. yea, that's still kiiiiiiiinda far....ホント残念。

i already mentioned this before too but they're also releasing a new single. 「GOOD LUCK MY WAY」鋼錬の映画版主題歌。かっけー。:) ホント大好き。いつか生で見たいです！！！

おもちゃ

so, we were bored over the weekend and the bf and i decided to check out a sex shop in pasadena. he's been wanting to go for a while and it's not that far so we decided to check it out.

what surprised me was that it was right in the middle of old town. なんか、あそこら辺ってオシャレな所じゃん？だからちょっと以外。あからさまにイケナイお店だもん。（笑）中に入ってみたらすっごい広いの。there are two floors. the bottom one was dedicated to videos/dvds so it wasn't that interesting. the top floor had toys, lingerie, lube, etc. そんなにものが多いわけではなかったけど、品ぞろいが良いわけでもない。we ended up getting anal beads (he kept insisting...), a glass dildo (is that what it's called? it doesn't move or anything), and a really expensive dildo. $190ぐらいしたヤツ。でも、これがまた超いいの。早速その晩いろいろ試してみて、一番が高いヤツだったね。これは長く使えそうだね。:)

btw, l'arc new single will get released in mid-june!!! 「GOOD LUCK MY WAY」超楽しみ。絶対予約しないとね！it's a good song, btw. i'll be listening to it on repeat for a while now <3

Osama bin Laden

thanks to my new job, i've actually been keeping up with current news lately. haha. ま、大人になってきましたね。で、最近の一番気になるニュースがやはり、こちらですね。so he was killed in palestine. and the U.S. has already disposed of his body.

but, there are still many doubters that bin Laden has actually died. 私のオフィスでもそう。「ホントはまだ死んでないんじゃないの～」って人が結構。and in the newspaper today, President Obama has decided not to release any photos of bin Laden's body. apparently, this is to prevent a violent reaction as well as propaganda usage. ま、妥当っちゃ妥当かも知れないけど、効果はあまり無さそう。

honestly, i don't think it really matters too much. just because bin Laden is dead, doesn't mean terrorist attacks will stop or al Queda is dead. someone will just take over. like al Zawahiri, for example. (i think that's how you spell it) ま、いずれにせよ、暴力や戦争は終わらんっちゅーこっちゃ。平和はどこなのでしょうね。

oh, btw, apparently, b'z is coming to club nokia. 知らなかった～。別にいきたくないけどね。although they do have some pretty good music.

やっと手に入りましたぁ～！うれしいです。but it was so expensive. $120+. haha. i'm so poor now....

オルゴールはflowerでした。i kinda wanted あなた so i'm kinda sad. i love that song. but flower is a really good song too, so i guess its fine. can't wait to start listening to the cds.

で、CD買いに行った際に駐車場で事故っちゃいました。一人でだけど。i hit the pole next to me with my passenger side mirror and it kinda snapped off.... so now i have no side mirror on that side. which really bites. it's really scaring driving without my side mirror. but it's my fault so i can't really complain.

that's the song i've got stuck in my head right now. by carrie underwood. it's a bit repetitive, but i like it. 何か、女の強さを歌ってる感じが。浮気男にはそれぐらいしなきゃわかんないだろうしね。イイ見せしめ。

ちょっぴり過激だし、犯罪のにおいがプンプンするけど、歌詞通りに出来たら、結構すっきりするだろうね。i'm not too sure i would have the courage to do it myself tho. ま、浮気されたら、即別れるけどね。no questions asked. there really aren't any excuses, if you think about it. so, yea, it's over. ま、私のダーリンは浮気の心配ゼロだけどね。えへへ。i think i excercise so much control over him that he wouldn't have the time/ability to cheat even if he wanted to. of course, i'm sure he doesn't want to. :)

oh, on a different note, i talked to the "i think" owner of frances the day before yesterday. 小東京のケーキ屋の。朝、パン買いに入ったら、お会計してくれたの。なかなかのイケメンですな。but i don't think he speaks japanese, which is too bad. but yea, we were just talking about credit cards and id theft. 何か、前に被害にあったことある見たい。もう少し仲良くなったら、ケーキとか安くしてくれないかなぁ？（下心大有りですね）だって、最近ケーキがヤケに高いんだもん。i really like their cake so it's sad that i can't eat them as much as i used to.

heard of that song? it's been annoyingly playing on the radio recently. and I HATE IT!!!! ホント、掛かってきたら、絶対ステーション変えるもんね。聞き飽きたっていうのもあるけど、内容もアホな内容だし、聞く価値なし。

i never knew who sang it. i kept wondering what kind of douchebag sang it. turns out, it's enrique inglesias. -__- もうちょっとまともなの歌えよ。昔はそこそこ良かったのに。 like "Hero" was really good. 今は馬鹿みたい。時代の流れって恐ろしいね。the fact that this song is so popular astonishes me. what kind of people listen to this song?

Desert Springs

went all the way to desert springs today for a one-night stay with the family. 超疲れた。片道2時間運転して、向こうについてしたことといえば、ショッピングのみ。バカらしい。it was raining on the way to. not all the way through. there were some parts were there was no rain, and other parts drizzle, and other parts with heavy rain. that made driving a lot more difficult. しかも、ほとんど始めて行くような道だから、大変。and of course, there are lots of a-hole drivers out there that you have to watch out for. 帰りは帰りで時間が丁度夕焼け時で、太陽に向かって走るから、眩しいの何の。driving was a real pain...
and seriously, all we did there was shopping. -__- キライなんだよねぇ、買い物。疲れるだけ。メッチャ歩くし。but my mom loves shopping so that's pretty much all we did. the scenery was really nice tho. 最初の日は雨だったから、あんまり何も見えなかったけど、帰りの今日は超晴天だったため、山とかめちゃめちゃきれいでしたね。

since it was such a long drive, decided to take some cds along. 今、あんまり無くて、とりあえず、ほとんどひたすらバンプ聞いてたね。昔はすっごい好きだったね。今でも結構好きだけど。i think bump of chicken has some really good music. i think i was listening to their album jupiter. really good. well, i guess there was some plus to the trip. rediscovered awesome music.

紅白歌合戦

it's that time of year again. 紅白歌合戦。wasn't really interested this year so i didn't really know who was going to be in it. ま、でも年越しはやっぱり紅白見ないとね。だから一応見始めた。お寿司食べた後にね。えへへ。so, i thought i might as well look up who's on it. then, guess who was on it?? L'ARC~EN~CIEL!!!!!!!!!! :O 超ビックリ。でもうれしい！！once i heard what song they were playing, it became pretty clear as to the obvious reason as to why they're on it. they sang 「BLESS」. that was the NHK theme song for the Vancouver Olympics this year. そりゃ出るだろ。ま、曲が良くて選ばれたから、紅白出れるのも当然だね。えへへ。才能だね。

oh man, and hyde looked as sexy as ever too. :) もう、かっこよすぎ。しかも、ラルクまた活動開始みたいだから、来年は楽しみだね。HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE!!

バカ猫

昨日はウチのバカ猫が逃亡し、大騒ぎに。i actually had to go home looking for the bastard... ホント人騒がせな猫ですね。in the end, i think it took nearly three hours until we could catch him. he ended up going under the house next door. once in, he would not come near the entrance. we had to string him along with milk. and even that took a while.

捕まえた後は捕まえた後でこれまた大変。i needed to shower him since he was so dirty and of course, he did not find it amusing. this ended with me getting a couple of scratches and him getting hit in the head a couple of times. それでもおとなしくしないんだよね。おとなしい方がすぐ終わるのに．．．by the time we left the house, it was past 10:30. ugh... so tiring...


on the plus side, L'Arc~en~Ciel is BACK!!!!! マジでうれしいです。年末にライブやるらしい。もちろん、日本で。i would totally love to go.. たしか、幕張メッセだって。too bad i probably can't. oh how i wish to live in japan. haha. seriously, tho, one day, i hope to see them live. ラルク最高！ :)

just got a phone call from a friend of mine who is a writer for a website. he wants me to write blog posts for the music section of the site. さて、どうしましょ？別に毎日更新しなくていいって。2、3日に一度。which is good for me, since i am such a lazy bum. 音楽を聴くのは好きだし、いいかも？あんまり難しく考えなくてよさそうだし。the site isn't a major site or anything so there aren't that many people looking. i think.

problem is, i like writing, but i don't think it's worthy of anything, you know? i mean, even with this blog, it's eh. 結構テキトー？あはは。ま、でも、翻訳的な面でも鍛えられるからやってみる価値はあるかもね。it does sound interesting. 考えて見ます。

which reminds me. 宇多田ヒカルが今年いっぱいで歌手活動休止だって。引退ではないみたいだけど、無期限。あ！後、桑田佳祐が癌の手術受けたんだって。皆さんいろいろ大変ね。i hope they both make a comeback soon. they make really good songs. :)

中川あゆみ

たった今見つけた、若干14歳のシンガー・ソングライター。she is amazing. she's really good at what she does and her song is crazy good. she tells of her situation growing up. her parents had divorced because they were both having affairs. she ended up being abandoned and was adopted by her grandparents on her mother's side. すごく悲しいけど、勇気付けられる曲。感動するし、共鳴したくなる。驚異な新人ですね。here's her youtube video.

カラオケ～

tonight, i went out with the bf, since he was in the area on business. haha. 2週連続なんてラッキー。最近は中々二人で出かけることなかったから楽しい♪

first, we went to this sex shop, Pleasure Chest, in West Hollywood that we'd been eyeing. we found it on yelp! and it had great reviews. 玩具買おうとばかり言う彼のために行くことに。we ended up getting a vibrator that we'd bought before that i really liked. plus, it was cheap. だって、結構全部高い。$50－$75は当たり前で$100超えるものなんてザラとある。高い高い。そういうのはもうちょっと大人になってからね。although there was this one that was like $135 that looked VERY interesting. lol

afterwards, we decided to go to the mall and just browse. we went to the gap since they were having a sale and i ended up buying 2 shirts. 最近買い物が多いです。ま、女の子らしくなってきたのかも知れないけど、ちょっと買いすぎかな？and then, we decided to eat at the food court. since we were both not too hungry, we decided to split an order. we ordered at this texmex like place. got a tortilla wrapped sandwich with tortilla chips. 結構おいしかった。以外とあっさりで。but i really wanted to try their fries. o well..

で、最終的にはカラオケ～。超久しぶり。楽しかった～。i've been wanting to go for a while so it was nice to finally be able to go. there were quite a number of people but the place was decently big so we didn't have to wait. finally got to sing "Don't say crazy" and also tried "The D-Motion" but failed. haha. 結構懐かしいのも歌った。Sowelu の "Dear Friend" とか hitomi の "LOVE2000" とか。懐かしい～。あはは。楽しい夜だった！

お気に入りの♪

最近お気に入りが「超新星」と「世界の終わり」。both may be kinda hard to tell but are group names, not songs. haha

超新星は韓国のグループ。踊って、歌えて、ラップができるらしい。で、最近よく聴くのが「LAST KISS」。it's a really sentimental song about the last kiss this guy has with his girlfriend. i'm a huge sucker for that kind of thing. haha. it's a really beautiful song. :) here's a link.
世界の終わりは結構最近デビューしたグループみたい。まだあんまりメジャーではないけど、結構イイ。their lyrics/songs are really interesting. i've heard two songs so far and they're both really good. 「幻の命」と「虹色の戦争」。歌詞が本当に心に残る感じ？plus, their melodies are also really nice. kinda retro and funky. check them out if you like that kind of stuff. here's a link.

NIWATTORI & L'Arc~en~Ciel

the family and i decided to go to torrance today and so for lunch, we decided to try out this restaurant, NIWATTORI. 変な名前だよね。にわっとり。あはは。

anyways, as you can tell by the name, it's a chicken based restaurant. (niwatori=chicken in japanese) ま、当然のことながら、メニューはほとんど鶏肉料理。結局、私は中華そば（鶏肉関係ねぇ．．．）と母がから揚げのドッカンねぎソースというのを頼み、分けることにした。the chuuka soba was essentially shoyu ramen. but it was goooooooddd. haha. it was a very simple ramen but the soup was very good. the noodles were also a nice firmness and their chashu was very good too. however, i think i liked the karaage better. ねぎが大盛り乗っていて、から揚げが絡めてあるソースはちょっと甘いけど、すごくさっぱりして美味しかった。なんといっても、ソースに絡まっていても、から揚げがカリッとしてるのがいいよね。美味でした！

oh, and i finally got my l'arc album!!!! wooooooooohooooooooo! waited nearly a month to get it. and it's still the limited edition one too!! hehe. i can watch the dvd now!!! すっごい楽しみ。久しぶりにＣＤなんか買った。高かった（$60）けど、totally worth it. haha. 「QUADRINITY」早く聞きたいなぁ～。

long weeeek

so, i haven't been on blogger in a while. haha. been a bit busy with stuff. plus, its spring break. since i haven't been here in such a long time, this is gonna be a looooong post.... 覚悟しぃや～（笑）

last friday: 風引いてほとんど一日ベッドで。。。-___- マジ最悪。i think the roomie got me sick, since she was sick at the beginning of the week. being confined to the bed sucks. but all throughout the day, i was thinking of the movie 「猫の恩返し」 that i saw the other day. it was really cute and happy. やっぱジブリやね。もう、ずっっっっっっとつじあよのの曲を鼻歌で歌ってた。
monday: my cousin came from japan :D 夏にあったけど、こっち来るのは久しぶり～。関西やからつられて関西弁連発～。あはは。楽しいわ。やっぱ。at night, we went out to drink at Applebee's with the bf and his friends. i got a martini. 別にあんまりおいしくなかった。もっとおいしいかと思ったからちょっと期待はずれ。
tuesday: KNOTT'S BERRY FARM :) 楽しかった～。マジ、はしゃぎまくった。haven't been there in ages. forgot what it was like. riding "ghost rider" gave me a headache... but the cousin liked it so we ended up riding it like 3 times. =_= お昼は．．．PINK'S! i did not know they made one at knott's. it was so exciting. i've been wanting to go for a while. やっぱ、ホットドッグうまし！
wednesday: we packed up all our stuff and off we went to big bear (sidetrip) and palm desert (main). DUDE, there was freakin' snow!!! haven't seen snow in ages. haha. 山道クネクネ行った甲斐がありました～。and then we got to the hotel at palm desert, the J.W. Marriott. they have this huge lake, on which they give boat tours. according to that, they have 2 huge golf courses, 2 pool areas, a lawn area for activities, a nightclub, 3 renowned restaurants, etc. すごかったよ。they had flamingos and black swans too!! ちょっぴり感動～。
thursday: 朝から最近マイ･ブームのバドミントンを遊んで、その後プール。haven't worn my bathing suit in a while. it felt so nice tho, since its so hot out there in the desert. and then we did some mini golf. ベッタやった。悲しい～。って言うか、悔しい～。and at night, the bf and i went to the jacuzzi. there was someone there already before us, but after a bit, they left. too bad the bf wanted to leave soon after... i wanted to get a little naughty ;) でも、前日に生理始まったからなぁ～。

friday: after checking out, we play a quick round of mini golf and head out. stop by morongo casino, gamble a bit, and swing around to desert hills outlet to do some shopping. めっちゃ買い物した。this day, i got a jacket, beige pants, denim shorts, a top, sandals, and a bag. dude, that's like, an entire set of clothing. lol.私がこんなに買い物するのは珍しいです。当分はいらんな。 saturday: today, we went to the roadium flea market in gardena cuz the cousin wanted to do some shopping. afterwards, we headed over to long beach and did a teensy bit of sightseeing. for dinner, we had some sushiiii. おいしかった。えへ。
so yea, quite the hectic week. spring break is almost over and the cousin will be going home in a couple more days. 寂しくなりますね。ugh, and its also gonna suck dealing with the mom... 最近ヒステリックに拍車が掛かってる気がする。今日だって腕引っかかれたし。the bf keeps saying i should leave, but... あんだけ「死ぬ、死ぬ」言われたらね。マジで死なれたら後味悪いよな。難しい問題です。疲れた。寝るべ、寝るべ。

ご存知ですか？女優の。she's been a couple big and interesting flicks. mostly movies tho. she's probably most famous for being in "KILL BILL". never watched it but heard it's good. i mean, it quentin tarantino. how could you go wrong? 後は、「バトル・ロワイヤル」と「下弦の月」。in that last one, she got to play the heroine agains hyde, so i really didn't like her. but that's total bias. haha

anyways, she recently debuted as a singer. under the name of CHiAKi KURiYAMA, she sang 「流星のナミダ」 and this was used for the theme song of 「機動戦士ガンダム」. 結構すごいよね？しかも、聞いてみたら、結構いい曲だよ。ま、いまだにあんまり好きじゃないけど、声はいいし、曲もいい。at least she's a lot better than 黒木メイサ.

my new lover :)

HOT HOT HOT!!! and amazingly talented as well. he is hot, sexy, and super cute. his awesome voice adds a nice touch to all of that. after watching "You're Beautiful", i am hooked on this hottie! マジで、演技うまいし、歌もうまいし、その上時にはかっこよく、時には可愛くでもう、メロメロです。*sigh* how can anyone be so amazing? i actually haven't crazed this much about someone since... HYDE! isn't that crazy?? i'm actually comparing this guy to hyde. my hyde-sama!! lol.

he showed off some amazing acting skills in "You're Beautiful". 面白し、俺様だし、かっこいいし、かわいい。全部だよね。and he sings!! hehe. not just as A.N.Jell but solos as well. i've been listening to a couple of his songs and they're really good :) ugh, now i want to learn korean. いつかね。
