HALLOWEEN! :)

this years halloween was interesting. as usual, the mom didn't want to spend any $$ on the candy, so we decided to go out. this year, the bf tagged along.

we ended up eating at 「楽」 in west l.a. おいしかった！やっぱ居酒屋好き。（笑）the people there were dressed up, since it was halloween. they were so cute :) our waitress was a referee, the waiter was a half-dead kendo guy, and the best, the zombie cook. haha. 結構いろいろ頼んだけど、全部結構イケた。後、ASAHI SUPER DRY 飲んでみた。苦味がきつかったかな？after that, the fam fam decided to go check out some crazy halloween houses in our neighborhood. pretty interesting. they were going all out. so many people were crowded around. it was fun tho :) 特に、ちょっちお化け屋敷みたいになってたところ。すごい人がいっぱいだったけど、たのしかった。一番最後にびっくりしたとき、驚いた勢いのあまり、前にいた知らない人の袖つかんじゃった。lol. embarrassing. pics below:

finally saw it!! i know, a bit late. but whatever. got to see if for only $3. gosh, i love that theater. lol.

うん。評判通り面白かった。でも、想像してたのとはちょっと違った。but in a good way. it was really interesting. i love how they filmed it. documentary style. there were a lot of things mixed in there that made it really interesting. sci-fi, action, romance. いろんな人が楽しめるよね。迫力満タンだし。twas the best $3 i'd spent in a while. haha.

I PASSED!!!

YAY! :) i really thought i wouldn't. but, i only got a c- so.... whatever. it's only 30? of my grase. the other 60% is coming from the final. でも、その分がんばらないとね。ため息が漏れる。

well, i already made this class a pass/no pass so it's not that big a deal. just happy i didn't fail as miserably as i'd thought.

no, it's not related to halloween. i've just been sushi-blocked. :( a guy at my workplace was trying to get the other workers together for a dinner tomorrow night. sadly, no one seemed to be responding to him. (笑) so, no more sushi...

めっちゃ楽しみにしてたのに。大好物です。結構長いこと食べてないし。なのに。。。ヒドイです。gah! stupid workers... we were supposed to go to Yamato in Westwood. heard it was decent and cheap. *sigh* guess i'm just going to have to wait.

OMFG! so windy today. what is up?? 昨日は全然風吹いたなかったのに。急にめっちゃ風がある。walking back to the shuttle from campus was a pain. dust was blowing everywhere and things were getting stuck in my flipflops. -___- pain...
at the apartment, you could seriously hear the wind howling. intense. ロスでは希に体験できる豪風だね。it was so bad that when the roommie was coming back to the apt from campus, she had to ask me for a ride. dude, i do not like driving other peoples' cars.. so scary. esp. since it was so windy.

my armenian history class midterm totally raped me... -__- ugh. total FAIL. i can pretty much bet you on it. めっちゃ凹んでます。i really didn't think it'd be that hard. i hate that class with a passion...

テストでこんなに落ち込んだの久しぶり。last one would probably be calc. that was really bad too. *sigh* need to change that class to pass/no pass so my gpa doesn't bomb. stupid history.

イライラ

してます。色々ありすぎて疲れた。finally finshed 2 of my midterms today. i think i did decent on both. just hoping that the second essay for my second midterm is okay. was kinda rushed for time.

my uncle's finally leaving this weekend. お母さんのイライラも少し収まるといいな。こっちまでイライラする。そんなに嫌なんだったら何で滞在を長引かせたのかわからない。whatever. it was nice seeing him again, regardless of all the crap i had to go through.

エッチしたい。これが一番ストレスかも、、、すっごい欲求不満。ugh. but nowhere to do it. can't at home. can't at the apartment. can't at his house. (don't even go there that often anymore....) i miss my baby... :(

仕事やめたい。けど、お金がない。頑張らねば。esp. since christmas is coming up. need to think of a present and お金ためないと。i know it's kinda early. but i need to start early. the bf isn't the easiest person to gift shop for. 何が欲しいですか？ま、勝手に調べるけど。

ugh. i've been eating wayyyy too much. seriously.... 何か、イライラすると食べる量が増える。ヤバイよね～。like yesterday, for lunch, i ate: 辛ラーメン、半チャーハン、フィッシュスティック８つ。i was so stuffed. yet, i still feel like pigging out. and i've already eaten quite a lot today: breakfast (2 breakfast sausages, scrambled eggs, 1 pancake), a piece of bread, bag of fritos, the lunch that i packed. 食べすぎだよね？and i still wanna pig out!?

ショッピング三昧

今週末はショッピング三昧で終わりました。ugh. i don't even like shopping. and freakin' lots of walking too. 暑いし。and i was supposed to be studying for my midterms this week. well, that went down the drain.... -__-

so, my uncle is visiting this week. so yea, my mom is trying to take him to all these different places. on saturday, we went to eat dim sum (yummy!) and the went to a swap meet in gardena. 暑かった！！でも結構楽しかった。after that, we had to do go shopping at like sam's club and stuff, which was ugh. takes wayyy too long. ま、自分の買い物も少ししたけどね。

で、日曜日はアウトレットまで。the cabazon one. sooooo farrrrr. plus, it was really hot too. かばんとシャツが買えたけどね。火事の後はかばんがなくて不便だったから良かった。ま、あんまり気に入ったのがなかったけど。you have to compromise somewhere. now, all i need is a wallet.

twas a very tiring weekend. now, i need to study...

なぜでしょう？i want to do something exciting. fun. anything. it's barely week 3 and i'm already sick of school. the amount of reading i have to do every week is seriously ハンパない。なので、気分転換がしたい。でも、、、midterms are next week so i don't that's happening too much this weekend. ugh. 2 on tues. and 1 on thurs. pray to god that i pass. i still need to catch up on that reading...

on the other hand, something i'm excited of over the weekend: my new lingerie from ae came! :) 彼に見せびらかさないと。えへ。でも、何もできないのが残念。今うちは叔父も来てるし、ちょっとヤパイかも！？ugh. but totally 欲求不満。

Airline Nightmare

so, my mom was supposed to come back sunday night from her cruise. she was supposed to take a flight from ft. lauderdale to dallas fort worth to los angeles. everything that could possibly go wrong did...

最初は、ft. lauderdale から出るフライトが２時間ぐらい遅れて、dallas での乗り継ぎが間に合わなくなったの。それから、miami に移動したらしいのだけど、どのフライトにも乗れず、結局その日は miami 止まり。でも、なぜか荷物だけは los angeles に着いたからそれを取りに行く為がだけに lax まで直行。

she was finally able to come back sometime around the evening of monday. but man, sunday was totally wasted. couldn't do much cuz we couldn't figure out when my mom would be getting back. damn american airlines. -___-

btw, i'm really interested in this guy, Jay Sean right now. anyone know who he is?? he's that guy that sings the song "Down". it was #1 on the billboards too. dude, he's INDIAN. did not know that. my roomie and i were like, 'but he sounds so black'. (not trying to be racist. just the style of music and the voice, i pressume) technically, british-indian. but yea, he's the first south asian to get #1 on the billboards. crazy. anyways, really catchy song. plus, he's kinda cute :)

Stabbing @ UCLA

today, a female student was stabbed in one of the chem labs on campus. my roommate was right across the hall when this happened. すごく怖い。the male student, who is in custody, reportedly stabbed the girl in the stomach, slashed her throat, and repeatedly punched her. その後、現場を冷静に去ったらしい。で、ちょっと離れたところで自首したみたい。

UCLA Young Hall

身近にこんなことがあると本当に怖い。まずあんまりありえないじゃん？学校だよ？真昼間だよ？what's scary is that my roomie was right across the hall from this. i'm so glad nothing happened to her. plus, she didn't have to witness all this happening. apparently, her t.a. is the one who called it in. freaky.

L.A. County Fair

went to the l.a. county fair for the first time this saturday! it was fun :) 難点を挙げるなら、何もかもが結構高いこと。特に食べ物。もうちょっと量を減らしてもいいから安くしてよって！that way i can try a lot more different stuff too. cuz eating just one thing makes you immensely full. so you can't try other stuff. それがすごく残念。だって、食べるの好きだもん。BBQ食べたり、ホットドッグ食べたり、お菓子食べたりしたかった。all i was able to eat was a pulled pork sandwich and tastifries. and i was able to finish neither. wanted to try pink's hotdogs, since they had a stand there. dude, the line is so short as compared to the one in hollywood. definitely gonna try it next time. haha.

the rides are so freakin' expensive too. it's all based on tickets, but those tickets cost A LOT! 高すぎて何も乗らなかった。だって、入場料も払ってるんだよ？（btw, i got in at kid's price. lol) so yea, did not feel like dishing out more money to ride the rides. maybe next time, when i'm not so broke.

overall, it was really fun. saw a lot of new stuff and it was just fun exploring the entire place. i don't think we were even able to explore all of it. tried panning for gold. 結構面白いけど、辛気臭いかも。（笑）but yea, it was an interesting, new experience. most of all, it was nice to be able to spend quality time with the bf without any interruptions from the mom. だって、いつもいつも電話ばっか掛けてきてうるさいんだもん。遊びに行ってるときくらいほっといてよね。

新ドラマ's

so, i used my "spare" time at work to look up the new doramas that are gonna be aired this fall. 目立ったのが続編シリーズ。結構あるぞ。

first of, there's 「ライアー・ゲーム」。戸田恵理香と松田翔太主演。not sure how long ago the first one aired but yea, second season is airing this fall. でも、予想ではあんまりよくなさそう。とりあえず見てみてそこから続けるか判断しましょう。


then, there's 「交渉人」。こちらは米倉涼子が主演。i actually really liked this series and continuing it doesn't seem too difficult so i'm hoping it'll be as good as the first one.


そして、「乙男」。こちらは只今放送中なのをそのまま放送するみたいです。結構好きなので、多分続けて見ます。

ドラマ「東京DOGS]より

最も見たいと思うドラマが「東京DOGS」。小栗旬と水嶋ヒロが出演。刑事ドラマです。it seems like it might be interesting and funny at the same time so i'm really looking forward to this dorama. 今秋は面白そうなドラマがいっぱいです。ざっと数えて11コぐらい見たいドラマがありました。大変だ。
