八&Chinese

in order to celebrate my birthday kinda late, the bf and i decided to go out to eat on friday night. 前々から気になってた「八」って和食レストランに行くことにした。the atmosphere was really nice. i actually "got ready" lol. 服選んで、髪ちょっと巻いて、用意するのに時間掛けた。結構初めての体験。i usually get ready to leave in about 10 mins. haha.

食べ物はすっごくおいしかった。お寿司と炉端料理がメイン。so we got a couple appetizers, like 生牡蠣、鳥から揚げ、等等。i also got some sushi and yakitori. it was all sooooo delicious :) で、お酒も飲みました。焼酎の水割りを一杯とお冷。but i think i drank it all too quickly. 少し気持ち悪くなっちゃった。and then, afterwords, when we went to the bf's house to pick up something, 事件が起きた。i walked into his room and the hotness and smell of the room made me run out of the house. ended up puking in his front yard... :( ごめんなさい。でも、あの熱気とにおいはダメだよ。マジで気持ち悪かった。ま、ちょっとした人生の汚点です。
で、昨日の夜は父と姉と彼と私で中華を食べに行った。父からのちょっと遅い誕生日プレゼント（？）it was in monterey park. it was decent. really crowded tho. えびの蒸したのがめっちゃおいしかった。結構大きかったです。おビックリ！みたいな。お魚もおいしかった。although i've had better. i rarely get to eat that steamed fish stuff so i was really happy. haha. and i also got to try chinese beer. it was actually pretty good. 後味がそんなにキツクなかった。えびとの愛称ばっちりでしたね。食べまくりの週末です。
